About this project

Modest Duck Compendiumis a publicly contributable collection of game design articles. It is modeled loosely on Wikipedia's information architecture: each article lives at its own slug-based URL, identity comes from the slug, and discovery happens via search, inline cross-references, and backlinks.

This is not a blog. There is no chronological feed and no “posts.” Each article is a living node in a graph that visitors arrive at by following a link, by browsing the A–Z catalog, or by reading recent changes.

Articles live in a separate public repository on GitHub. Anyone can propose a new article or an edit by opening a pull request against the content repo. Contributions are credited through GitHub commit history — see the contributors page.
